Magnetic stripes are versatile and useful tools, which give plastic cards the ability to store a small amount of data. This can be used for a variety of purposes, and there are different standards of magnetic stripes. To ensure clients receive the correct standard, we test your existing plastic cards for coersivity (readability) and supply a sample to test in your existing equipment.

• Low-Coersivity (Lo-Co) = 300 oersted cards
(Oersted is a measurement of density)

• High-Coersivity (Hi-Co) = Tape of 2750 or 4000 oersted
